The application of metallic layers to a base material by means of the electro-chemical principle of ion transference.
It is interesting to note here that the base material does not necessarily have to consist of metal, as a result of customized processes.

The various galvanotechnic processes are principally differentiated through the type of current supply, either on racks, the equipping of which requires extensive manual work, or in drums for mass goods and bulk goods.
